Who can join

Membership of the MLC is open to persons who profess the Muslim faith, believe in the Qur'an as the final Revelation of Allah and in Muhammad ﷺ as the final Prophet, and who wish to volunteer their time and skills for the benefit of the community.

Eligible to stand for election onto the committee
Opportunities to lead on lessons, publications, chaplaincy and outreach
A welcoming, non-sectarian and non-party-political environment

Ways to help

Educators & writers — help develop lesson fact sheets and year-group materials.

Community connectors — support mosque circulation and family communications.

Advisers & specialists — lend expertise in RE, chaplaincy, governance or law.
